Avoid compromising your budget and time searching for fire resistant building board options when you can select FireCrunch for all your building and cladding material needs. Our fire resistant building board BCA deemed to Satisfy and NCC alternative product range is specifically designed to withstand the harsh and unpredictable Australian climate without fail to ensure maximum longevity.
At FireCrunch, we are committed to the manufacture of our building board range in an environmentally friendly fashion and have successfully established a powerful and responsible image in the building market of fire rated building materials. Our boards and products are 10 times stronger than plaster board and emit a final very low Co2 value of only 5%.READ MORE
FireCrunch is stronger and will last up to four times longer than a standard building board. FCA is a product of superior (MgSO4) Magnesium sulphate content quality. FCA products unlike all other Chinese imported MgO on the Australian market contain no Corrosive Magnesium Chloride (Mchl2).
All MgO with Chloride content will rust out streel screw fixings and corrode galvanised steel frames in under 6 weeks if not very carefully steel protection coating in preparation with rust inhibitors raising the install cost and will not entirely eliminate the corrosion risk. (See NATA tested certification FCA products no Magnesium Chloride (Mgchl2) Certification.)
Whilst FireCrunch is not totally indestructible, it is however, eight to ten times stronger than plasterboard. Small household accidents will not damage FireCrunch. Investors with rental tenants who may not be as careful as they should be will find expensive and difficult to repair plasterboard maintenance virtually zero with FireCrunch.READ MORE
FireCrunch is resistant to mould, does not retain moisture and repels bacteria. Being a health safe product, FireCrunch will not warp expand or contract and degrade in wet areas and does not provide an environment for mould and bacteria spores to spread.
Mould and mildew will not easily form on FireCrunch and bacteria cannot survive on our building boards, instead it kills bacteria almost instantly, which makes it suitable for family protection at home, medical centres, hospitals, schools, and other health concern areas.READ MORE
FireCrunch has a high acoustic rating in its natural format in 10 mm, and higher in greater thicknesses. It has an acoustic capability of up to Rw 62 + Ctr.
The BCA requirement levels are met by the addition of high density acoustic insulation batts placed in the wall and ceiling cavities to the architects and or manufacturers specification. In some cases, these are fire and acoustic rated batts. These are available from several manufacturers in Australia and users should check first to verify the ability relevant to those specified Rw and other requirements.READ MORE
FireCrunch is impervious to termites and cannot be consumed by White Ants and the like. FireCrunch is termite resistant due to the chemical compound of magnesium oxide (MgO) acting as a final deterrent to termites.
Made from a completely unique and non-toxic fibre composite mix, termites have no interest in FireCrunch. Householders and property owners suffer extensive damage to timber framed construction caused by the endemic termites in Australia. There are about eight very destructive species in various forms, mainly distributed along the coast lines. FireCrunch and XCLAD cladding total protects all expensive timber framing.READ MORE
FireCrunch is primarily a fire protection product, however, it is also flood resistant. In cases of flooding, simply clean off the excess dirt and debris, and let it dry. Water and flooding cause extreme damage to properties in low-lying areas of Australia throughout the year.
FireCrunch’s reliable building boards do not degrade or deteriorate in water. Ideal for flood protection whilst being a mould resistant board where the framing can be dried out and the board resealed and re-painted at a low cost.READ MORE
Fire Combat Australia PL is a proudly Australian owned and operated company under the brand name FireCrunch, a NATA/CSIRO BCA standards, fire rated building board. We provide an extremely sustainable, low carbon dioxide (Co2) pollution level, fire resistant building board and cladding material which is also NATA certified, asbestos free and contains NO metal corrosive Chloride (MgCl2) and it is a Magnesium Sulphate board ( MgSO4 ) which eliminates all metal corrosion, suitable for interior and exterior use in modern lightweight construction. FireCrunch Australia provides not only a product range with a Fire Resistance Level (FRL) of 90/90/90 and over, but building cladding boards that are also resistant to water, impact, sound, termites, bacteria, and mould.
Easy installation by regular licensed trades operatives in carpentry, or metal fixing and normal plaster set, requires regular timber tools to cut and fix.
Using our innovative magnesium oxide (MgO) technology, FireCrunch has achieved very high load bearing (55kN) CSIRO tested and compliance verified building products, whilst being ultra-lightweight and easy to install. FireCrunch is suitable for high-rise residential and commercial construction for bushfire and flooding prone areas and available to our Australia wide clients, via local and State distributors.
For the multinational corporation to the small home builder, FireCrunch has been custom engineered as a product designed to meet all of Australia's unique climatic conditions.
