Our K-Clad exterior lining and facades board in 10mm can be used on each side of a single 90 x 45mm stud frame or wider 64mm x 2 or 76mm x 2 double stud fire wall steel or timber frame, dependent on the FRL required up to FRL 90/90/90 . FireCrunch K-Clad requires only one single 10mm sheet on each side of steel or timber frames compared to multiple layers of plasterboard.


Regular timber tools can be used to install FireCrunch K-Clad and no time consuming pre-drilling is required. FireCrunch K-Clad provides extensive protection and additional bracing integrity and structural integrity MgO to timber and steel framing when clad with FCA in fire and flood conditions, once pre sealed with recommended products in weather and water sealing.

FireCrunch K-Clad is a high impact resistant product which is quick and easy to install, significantly reducing labour costs up to 70%, versus fire rated plasterboard where only 1 x 10mm sheet is required instead of up to 3 layers of 13mm or 2 layers of 16mm Fyrchek and similar low capability fire rated plasterboard products.
