How to find a better Gyprock alternative building board for fire safety

Plasterboard is one of the materials which are used in the modern day construction. It is made up of simple materials like gypsum as well as paper. It is used in a wide array of applications like sound control, partitions, wall lining, sound control and partitions. The major environmental impacts that are associated with the Plasterboard result from the manufacturing process.

Our Fireproof Building Board, Blue Mountains can be used both for external as well as internal applications. These fire protection and fire safety boards are mainly built to withstand the higher temperatures as well as extreme temperature variations. These FireCrunch boards are Fire tested for high temperatures in fire and prolonged periods up to 1.5 hours, FRL 90/90/90 to resist fire and extreme prolonged high temperatures without combustion or flame out. FireCrunch is totally non-combustible. They can be cut, drilled, sawn, routed with standard timber working tools.

Gyprock does have an Alternative plasterboard solution inFireCrunch, used extensively in the Blue Mountains NSW and  is a most effective Gyprock alternative plasterboard. Made of Magnesium oxide composites, FireCrunch is also an environmental building board. It is designed for a large range of home fire protection including firestorm protection in bushfire safe building  but is primarily a product used in hi rise construction and large commercial projects where high FRL 90/90/90 in fireproof building board and fire tested building board and Fire separation wall systems are mandatory complying withe BCA

The fireCrunch product is being used extensively as a gyprock alternative in fire tested building board in buildings where such high FRL is required.

Gyprock alternatives like FireCrunch magnesium oxide building board often known as MgO building board  is being replaced by alternative building and environmental building board like FireCrunch which is virtually carbon neutral through manufacturing of this environmental building board with very low  Carbon Pollutive values 95% less than Fire safe plasterboard or cement products .FireCrunch, high impact products and systems.

Environmental plasterboard Blue Mountains . Each of the gyprock  alternative building  board products in this category do not compare withe Fire tested building board capability of FireCrunch ( CSIRO)

Under these fire tested building board categories FireCrunch is manufactured with a higher level of recycled content and enables this ENVIRONMENTAL BUILDING BOARD  to meet the need for attaining the respective Green star points.

We supply CSIRO Fire certificates for our Fire tested Building Board and Fireproof Building Board and Home fire protection boards to the construction industry. Our FireCrunch, fire safe building board is exceptionally durable, high strength, moisture resistant and with ease of rapid installation. With its wide range of characteristics, qualities and its ability to withstand very high temperature, makes it the first choice of quality building board  building construction covering every aspect of High Fire FRL protections in  a wide array of Fire separation walls, boundary fire walls, bushfire building, bushfire safe building and  in certified building boards made of magnesium oxide composites.

Water efficiency

FireCrunch recognizes the need of using water resources effectively and efficiently. We  manage the disposal of water as per the industrial standards at our manufacturing facilities.

Reduced energy consumptiony

The presence and usage of FireCrunch Environmental building board minimizes CO2 greenhouse gas emissions up to 90% it also contributes by improving the energy efficiency 80% across all its manufacturing facilities.

FireCrunch fireproof building board and Acoustic valuesy

Acoustic

Unlike paper based Gyprock board, FireCrunch fire resistant building board has a very high value acoustic rating
Tested in Australia  AS/NZS ISO 717.1 to Rw 62 certificates (see Fire Test Certificates)

Occupier or pedestrian damage

The FireCrunch Gyprock Alternative building board product is very well suited to high traffic areas and places where wall damage could occur.

FireCrunch is 10 times stronger than plasterboard Gyprock and ideal for use in public buildings, library’s hospitals, schools medical centres and prisons and anywhere with high and heavy traffic volumes, auditorium and theatre ceilings.

Healthy

FireCrunch also has great health features in that mould and mildew will not accumulate and bacteria cannot survive on FireCrunch Mgo building board  This makes it the best choice for schools, hospitals, medical centres, and all wet area applications for this multipurpose interior /exterior fire resistant building board with instant Class 4/5 top grade commercial surface finish

FireCrunch does not require additional Fire tested plasterboard cladding for painting etc 1 x 10mm FireCrunch board each side of a specified steel frame to BCA standards provides FRL 90/90/90.and a class 4/5 finish with regular surface sealers and paints
